Officers were called shortly before 3 a.m. on Sept. 27 to the 5200 block of Kramme Avenue in Brooklyn, where there was a report of a team of minors tampering with with auto.
Upon arrival, members of the Anne Arundel County Police Department spotted a 2020 black Hyundai sedan with tinted windows speeding away from the area before striking a truck that then collided into a residence in the 300 block of Church Street.
Following the crash, residents were trapped in an upstairs bathroom, officials said.
The occupants of the stolen vehicle - two 14-year-old boys, as well as a 13- and 16-year-old girl - suffered minor injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment and evaluation.
According to police, the Anne Arundel County Fire Department and a building inspector also responded to the scene, and the impacted residence was condemned due to the damage caused by the crash.
Investigators say that they believe the vehicle involved was stolen, and all four teens were charged with juvenile citations and subsequently released into the custody of their guardians.
